Narrative:

Although I have been involved in over twenty medical campaigns to Peru, India, China, Tanzania, and Guatemala, and Viet Nam, involving three different organizations, this was my first trip to the Kausay Wasi Clinic in Coya, Peru through Capitol City Medical Teams.
I had a great trip to Coya and did 17 cases in 4 days of surgery. Our team saw at least twenty additional patients, but simply could not schedule them due to limited operating room time. Guido del Prado, the Founder and Director of the Clinic, and I discussed the possibility of returning in the spring of 2022 to do some of these cases. I am hoping that we can do that.
